More than 750 direct exhibitors of ceramic tiles, kitchen and bathroom equipment, gripping materials, tools and raw materials, will meet from March 4 to 8 at Feria Valencia, during the celebration of CEVISAMA, one of the two most important fairs in the world for this sector.
On an area of 166.000 square meters, Spanish manufacturers and those from 44 other countries present their collections of flooring and wall coverings; faucets, sanitary ware, shower cabins, whirlpool bathtubs and accessories.
This is one of the most important events in the world, which annually receives more than 70.000 buyers, of which 10.000 are foreigners, from more than 140 countries.
Spain, the world's second-largest producer of ceramic tiles, exports more than half of its production. The main customer is the United States, followed by France and the United Kingdom.
Spanish tiles have a well-deserved reputation for their high quality and performance.
Currently, the use of ceramic tiles is no longer limited to kitchens and bathrooms and is applied to all types of surfaces. In recent years, technological improvements have increased their use in construction, such as on building facades.
Design has been strongly incorporated, and some of the most acclaimed creators are already producing collections of ceramic tiles.
As for other products, CEVISAMA will host the latest designs in sanitary ware and taps.
Along with the trade exhibition, CEVISAMA offers several exhibitions of Architecture and Interior Design Awards, as well as an overview of the National Design Awards granted by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
Simultaneously with CEVISAMA, Feria Valencia also hosts MARMOL, the International Natural Stone Exhibition, which showcases the finest marbles, granites, and slates from Spanish quarries, as well as a large selection of natural stone from Greece, Italy, Turkey, and India, to name just a few countries.
