The chemical group now has €603,37 million in liquidity.
Deutsche Bank has increased its financing line for La Seda de Barcelona by 200 million euros, giving the chemical group 603,37 million euros to pay for its latest purchases.
These funds are in addition to those obtained as a result of the recent capital increase worth 439,52 million euros, an operation that was led by the same financial entity, as reported by La Seda.
The 603,37 million euros will be used to finance the strategic plan of the group chaired by Rafael Español, among whose initiatives the acquisition of the Eastman Chemical factory in San Roque (Cádiz), the purchase of the assets in Europe and Morocco of the Australian group Amcor and the construction of the new factory in Sines (Portugal) stand out.
La Seda plans to allocate a maximum of 430 million euros to the purchase of Amcor's assets, paid 40,5 million for the Spanish plant of Eastman Chemical and will invest the rest in Sines, a project budgeted at 360 million euros that has aid from the European Commission worth 99 million euros and from the Portuguese government.
