DHL Express has announced a new edition of the DHL Atlas Export Awards, aimed at recognizing Spanish SMEs that are carrying out meritorious or innovative activities in the field of exports and internationalization.

The crisis that has occurred in recent years has led to more and more SMEs who have taken the decision to export your products or services to other countries, with the aim of diversify risks and reach a greater number of consumers. In fact, in 2016 the Exports in Spain grew 3,05% compared to the previous year, which has meant reaching a figure of 262.360,3 million euros. Are foreign sales They represent 23,46% of GDP. The main markets for Spain in terms of exporting are France, Germany and Italy, which represent 15,62%, 11,66% and 8,01% of total exports, respectively.

The winners of the previous edition reflect the effort and dedication that it has had as a result of its consolidation in the outside market, as has been the case of:
Geci Group, Grand Prize for Export in 2016 for his career of export success in more than 15 countries South America, Europe, Asia and Africa of its high-tech, engineering and aircraft maintenance services.
Magapor, Second Prize for the Most Innovative Export in 2016 for its great commitment to innovation in the export of its technology for artificial insemination in pigs, in a total of 40 international markets.
Gárnica, Second Prize for the Most Sustainable Export in 2016 for its commitment to a business model based on sustainable forest management and environmental protection. Its activity focuses on ecological production through the use of poplar wood, exporting 90% of its plywood production.
Pisamonas Children's Footwear, Export Access through E-commerce in 2016 for his export growth in the last 3 years, going from billing 100.000 euros in 2014 to more than 7 million euros in 2016, exclusively through the online channel.
