DHL Express Spain has organized a webinar on the main impacts of Brexit on Spanish companies that do business in the United Kingdom and how companies should adapt to this new challenge.
Under the title “Are you ready for Brexit?” and over the course of an hour, three experts from DHL Express have outlined the key aspects of the transition period that ends on December 31, and what is expected from January 1, when the new commercial rules come into force. in transactions with the United Kingdom.
Marta Belloso, Product Manager at DHL Express Spain, has been in charge of detailing the current situation and what is expected from next year, as well as the possibilities of a hard Brexit, which is increasingly possible as time is running out for the Government of Boris Johnson and Brussels reach a new trade agreement. If this is the case, new tariffs and restrictions are foreseen, as well as the need to comply with WTO rules as if it were an export to any third country.
Belloso also explained how DHL is adapting to this new scenario and together with Antonio Jiménez, Director of Customs at DHL Express Spain, and Alicia Martín, Customs Affair Manager at DHL Express Spain, detailed the most important points that companies have to comply with from now on in their commercial relations with the United Kingdom.
