DHL Express hosts a webinar and reveals the keys to success in emerging markets.

 

 

DHL has organized the first of a series of online days within its DHL Atlas Export Days program, from where they promote, together with the finalists of the DHL Atlas Awards, how to face the new challenges of the international market.

 

The event was attended by Jordi González, director of the Electronic and Digital Commerce Observatory, and Oriol Ripoll, CEO and founder of Decántalo, one of the award-winning companies at the DHL Export Awards and prominent entity in the Capabilities Through the electronic commerce

 

Raquel Ibáñez, a business journalist from Exterior, moderated the session, where he highlighted the crucial moment e-commerce is experiencing in Spain. Jordi González emphasized the sector's remarkable growth, noting that In 2023, digital commerce in Spain exceeded 24%., an increase of more than 22% in just three years. Given this promising outlook, he raised the fundamental question of how companies can take advantage of this dynamic to grow beyond Spain's borders.

 

Delving into the current panorama of e-commerce in Spain, Jordi González He described it as a sector with a «spectacular growthHowever, he cautioned that, despite this progress, "we are still far behind the most advanced countries in EuropeBut we are converging at a very high speed.” In this context, he stressed the crucial importance of Spanish companies making a firm commitment to internationalization as an engine for future growth, arguing that “the domestic market is going to become too small for many companies.”

 

For its part, Oriol Ripoll He shared his vision on what he considers the most disruptive and relevant trend of the moment: "The main trend, because it's a revolution of the last two years, something that seemed far off but is, let's say, knocking at the door, is generative artificial intelligence." He explained how this technology is revolutionizing content creation and the optimization of business processes, giving companies the ability to be more efficient and to personalize their communication and offerings on a global scale.

 

Both experts agreed on the transcendental importance of adaptability and continuous innovation as fundamental pillars to achieve success in the competitive international digital marketThey emphasized that implementing appropriate digital tools and formulating a well-defined strategy are essential elements.
