Ebury: commitment to companies to cover exchange rate risk in their international operations

Interview with Duarte Lebanon Monteiro, General Director of Ebury

We interviewed the head of Ebury in Madrid, a company specializing in foreign exchange transactions that offers the market an alternative to traditional banking for the execution of spot foreign exchange buy-sell transactions, as well as for exchange rate hedging.


Ebury It was founded in London in 2009 by Spanish engineers Juan Lobato and Salvador Garcíaas a company specializing in foreign exchange services. Two years later, it expanded into Spain, combining geographical growth with constant innovation in its own product and technology.

 

With local teams for Sweden, France and Germany among others, the company currently has a client portfolio of more than 3.000 companies and employs more than 170 people across its offices in London, Madrid and Amsterdam.

 

The recent opening of the Amsterdam office is part of Ebury's planned expansion for the coming years, with the aim of broadening its multi-product offering and increasing its reach to customers worldwide, providing the knowledge, security and consulting to maximize customer opportunities.
