EDP ​​Renováveis ​​inaugurates a wind farm in France

EDR Renováveis ​​(Euronext: EDPR), fourth world's largest producer of wind energy, opens a new park in France. The Truc de l'Homme park, with a capacity of 11,67 MW, is located in the municipalities of Fau de Peyre and La Fage Montivernoux, in Lozère, in the Languedoc-Roussillon region. The annual production of this park is equivalent to power consumption (excluding heating) of around 12.500 people.

It was inaugurated in the presence of Frédéric Lanoë - general director of EDP Renováveis ​​France and Belgium and president of France Energie Eolienne, association of professionals in the wind energy sector -, Daniel Mantrand - mayor of Fau de Peyre - and Pierre Noal - mayor of La Fage Montivernoux—.

Since its launch, the park Man's Trick, meets EDPR's expectations, ensuring optimal operating conditions for this region.

With a presence in France since 2001, EDPR has a total operating capacity of 340 MW, generated by almost 200 wind turbines. The projects of the South of France are managed from the offices in Millau (Aveyron) and the subsidiary's headquarters are in Paris. This power puts it among the five largest players in France in terms of installed onshore wind capacity.
