Spain – Egypt
Saudi Arabia has resumed sending oil to Egypt after suspending it for six months.
Saudi Arabia had committed to sending Egypt 700.000 tons of refined petroleum products per month for five years, an agreement it abruptly broke after Cairo voted at the UN against Riyadh's interests regarding Syria and the battle for Aleppo. Saudi diplomacy has consistently claimed that the supply cut was for purely economic reasons, a claim that is hardly credible, given that market conditions have barely changed.
