Banco Sabadell and HSBC sign a collaboration agreement

Banco Sabadell and HSBC formalized a collaboration agreement aimed at the prescription of HSBC's British clients to Solbank in Spain and the mutual provision of financial services by both entities to their respective clients, in the corresponding national markets.
Under this commercial agreement, Solbank, Banco Sabadell's brand and network specializing in serving Europeans residing in Spain, will increase its overall business volume and market share in the UK personal banking sector. The Solbank brand will gain significantly greater recognition by associating itself with a prestigious and renowned global bank that enjoys a high level of penetration in the important British domestic market.
HSBC, for its part, will have a leading partner in Spain, renowned for its service quality and enjoying a significant market share among British residents in the country. HSBC customers will thus be able to benefit from a wide range of specific and differentiated products under preferential conditions and with the quality standards associated with the Solbank brand.
This agreement is the result of a relationship that began in 2002 through Banco Sabadell's London office to meet the financial needs of these clients, especially regarding the acquisition of homes and the formalization of mortgages in Spain.
HSBC, present in Spain since 1982, is one of the world's largest banking and financial services organizations, with more than 200.000 shareholders in over 100 countries.
