The CIFP San Gabriel together with the Distance University of Madrid launch the Higher Course on Foreign Trade in the Agri-Food Industry

It will begin next October in a blended manner

La agri-food industry of Castilla y León It is the third most competitive of Spain thanks to its high productivity, according to a report by Cajamar, which also highlights the increase in its exports by 10,9% in 2021 to 2.716 million euros.

 

The agri-food sector of Castilla y León is the fifth largest in Spain. With a weight in the economy of 7.227 million euros in 2021, it represents 7,3% of the country's agri-food gross value added (GVA) (including the primary sector, the processing and distribution industry) and 14,2 % of GVA of the region. In terms of employment, the agri-food sector generates 147.921 jobs, which represents 15,2% of total employment in the regional economy.

 

El CIFP San Gabriel along with the Distance University of Madrid (UDIMA) They launch the Higher Course on Foreign Trade in the Agri-Food Industry, a 650-hour, blended degree that will begin in October 2023.

 

This title aims to achieve the following objectives:

 

Train specialists in foreign trade in the agri-food industry.

Provide specialized complementary training to graduates or professionals in the agri-food sector and related fields.

Facilitate all interested people, whether professionals or not in the sector, in learning the fundamental knowledge to launch an internationalization process.

Obtain global knowledge of the Agri-Food Sector.

Train professionals to lead the internationalization process of a company in the Agri-Food Sector.

To train professionals who understand the principles and techniques of managing a company in the Agri-food Sector in an international context, covering different areas such as legal, tax, technological, marketing…

It is directed to:

Graduates or higher university graduates with an international vocation.

Postgraduates who wish to develop their professional career internationally in companies in the agri-food sector.

Professionals in the agri-food sector who wish to learn the company's internationalization process.

Entrepreneurs or businessmen interested in the internationalization of their company or who have started it and need to reinforce their preparation for it.
