Today is the award ceremony for the XXII Awards for Internationalization of the Club of Spanish Exporters and Investors, an event that recognizes the work of SMEs and large Spanish companies in their activities International expertsThis award, which has been given annually for 22 years, is sponsored by entities such as Banco Santander.
In this edition, SEDECAL, a world leader in the design and manufacture of X-ray generators, receives the award for the «Large company with a notable international projectionSince 2001, SEDECAL has expanded its presence to over one hundred countries and operates offices and factories in places such as France, United States, Italy, Hungary, China, Türkiye and Brazil.
In addition, the Club has awarded ex aequo in the category of “Small or medium-sized company with a notable international projection” to Casmara and Intecsa. Casmara Cosmetics, SA has established itself as a leader in the high-end cosmetics sector, with a strong presence in 80 countries, while Intecsa-Inarsa S.A.., dedicated to construction and engineering, has carried out projects in more than 35 countries, with exports representing 73% of its activity in the last five years.
The jury also recognized Alfredo Bonet Baiget for its support to the internationalization of Spanish companies, awarding it the prize “Senior official or institution of special relevance for the internationalization of Spanish companies.” Bonet, who has held significant positions as General Director of Promotion of ICEX - Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade And the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, is grateful for the recognition: "I am very grateful to the Exporters Club and the jury of the internationalization awards for this recognition, which means that they are giving me this award, and especially because of who is giving it to me, because it is the Exporters and Investors Club, which is representative of the sector of internationalized Spanish companies."
