From its delegation in Andalusia, the Exporters Club offers institutional support to Andalusian companies that already have commercial or investment activity abroad or to those that are about to undertake their internationalization.

El Club of Spanish Exporters and Investors has presented its delegation in Andalusia in Seville, which was also announced last year in Malaga. This is the second delegation of the Club outside of Madrid, since its creation in 1997, which adds to the one it has in the Valencian Community, and responds to the association's growth and expansion plan to new geographic areas within Spain.

 

From its delegation in Andalusia, the Exporters Club offers institutional support to Andalusian companies that already have commercial or investment activity abroad or to those who are about to undertake their Capabilities.

 

The representation of the Exporters Club in Andalusia is assumed by the office GVA Gómez-Villares & Atencia, and is carried out by the managing partner and lawyer of the firm Santiago Gómez-Villares Pérez-Muñoz and also a member of the Club's Board of Directors.

The headquarters of the Confederation of Businessmen of Andalusia (CEA) has hosted the presentation in Seville of the Andalusian delegation of the Exporters Club, within the framework of a day entitled “Alliances for the internationalization of Andalusian companies”, presented by the president of the CEA, Javier González de Lara, and inaugurated by the Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds of the Government of Andalusia, Carolina España.

 

The importance of public-private collaboration

 

In his welcome, the president of the Confederation of Businessmen of Andalusia (CEA), Javier González de Lara, stressed: “The internationalization of Andalusian companies is one of the keys to CEA's daily work. Opening to new markets and attracting investments are strategic for the sustainable and solid growth of our region. Alliances between the public and private sectors, such as those encouraged by events like this one with the Exporters and Investors Club, are essential for this purpose.”

 

During the opening of the day, the Minister of Economy, Finance and European Funds, Carolina España, assured that the internationalization of the Andalusian business sector must be based, “invariably, on cooperation between the public sector and the private sector”, and that For this reason “the Andalusian Government, aware of the capital role that the private sector must play in the global positioning of our economy, has the direct participation of the business sector in its main initiatives and policies to promote the foreign projection of the Andalusian company. ”.

 

The counselor has referred to the Exporters Club as a “business reference for internationalization in Spain, an agent with institutional dialogue at the highest level and a forum for reflection and knowledge of recognized prestige in the field of the foreign sector" and has highlighted that "it includes leading companies in their respective sectors and with extensive experience in international markets."

 

“Aware of the value that the Club brings, Andalucía TRADE will continue to support its membership, as a strategic partner to promote the internationalization of Andalusian companies and as a source of knowledge and market intelligence,” the counselor stressed.

 

The managing director of the Andalusian Council of Chambers of Commerce, Mercedes León, highlighted the commitment of the chamber network to the internationalization of companies, which forms one of its strategic and priority lines in its actions with the development of multiple support and accompaniment programs when going abroad, especially focused on SMEs. Mercedes León opted for unity of action and collaboration in promoting internationalization and underlined the value and contribution of the Exporters Club in this advance.

 

The event was closed by Antonio Bonet, president of the Spanish Exporters and Investors Club, who stated that “being present in Andalusia means putting the resources and advice of the Club within the reach of a region with a great export tradition and a reference in Spain.”

 

 

The president of the Official Credit Institute (ICO), José Carlos García de Quevedo, who has valued the activity carried out by the Exporters Club and the business associations to bring the activity of the ICO to SMEs, self-employed workers and companies.

 

In his speech, the top executive of ICO explained that "the ICO Group works in public-private collaboration to finance projects that promote the sustainable growth of companies and their digitalization." Furthermore, he highlighted that “the ICO is part of and actively contributes to the Internationalization Strategy of the Spanish Economy 2017-2027".

 

During the day, a colloquium was also held that dealt with the “keys to success in international markets”, which included the participation of experts, Víctor Fernández, director of International Business of the Banco Santander and Antonio Castro, general director of the Andalusia TRADE Agency; moderated by journalist Luis Montoto.
