The Basque Maritime Forum launches a pioneering course on Marine Technology and Offshore Energy and inaugurates a Talent Portal for the sector.

 

The Basque maritime sector, an essential pillar with a weight of 4,7% of the GDP of the Basque Country, which generates more than 28.000 jobs and exports 70% of its production, is strengthening its commitment to the innovation and sustainability through high-level training.

 

The Basque Maritime Forum (FMV) initiated a cutting-edge course about Marine Technology and Offshore EnergyThis training, which has the collaboration of the Bilbao School of Engineering (EHU) and partner companies of the cluster, lasts two months and is designed to offer a comprehensive and practical vision ranging from ship operation and maintenance to emerging technologies such as hydrogen propulsion.
