"The online master's program raises awareness about the technological revolution in international trade"

IDE-CESEM, the Institute of Business Managers, presents the third edition of its Master's Degree in Foreign Trade Management, with the aim of responding to the needs created by the globalization of the economy and by the development of commercial management linked to new technologies.

The aim of this master's program is to provide a comprehensive and integrated overview of international transactions. Its curriculum covers everything from the most appropriate marketing strategies for each foreign trade operation to financing options, as well as the associated tax and legal aspects.

The program will be delivered online, as this is considered the most popular format among professionals in the sector, whose work demands significant geographical mobility and flexible schedules. Vicente Saucedo, Director of the Foreign Trade Area at IDE-CESEM, points out that "an online edition allows us to appreciate the revolution that new technologies have brought to the development of international trade."

The director elaborates on the program's content, explaining that "it delves into aspects of foreign trade that are not typically considered, but which are nevertheless fundamental to a company's international relations and growth, such as technology transfers and franchising. Participants will also engage with successful case studies through comprehensive benchmarking."

Once the master's degree is completed, the aim is for the student to be able to apply foreign trade techniques to the management of any company, seeking its internationalization and competitiveness in the global market.

To this end, training techniques are taught that consist of "the internationalization plan, which defines the creation of products for consumers in global markets; the setting of prices for international markets; the distribution of products beyond borders or how to carry out promotional and advertising actions on a global scale," says Saucedo.

This master's degree is aimed at postgraduates, as well as managers and professionals who need practical training to develop their career in this area of specialization with a great future.

According to the master's program director, "it's important to understand all business processes (legal, personnel, manufacturing, and marketing) and the differences between national and international approaches. Fluency in languages, especially English and French, is also essential."
