Signing of a framework collaboration agreement

The Secretary of State for Telecommunications and for the Society de informationFrancisco Ros, and the president of Association Spanish Marti Menen, from the Association of Electronic Commerce and Relationship Marketing (AECEM), have signed a framework collaboration agreement for carrying out dissemination and promotion activities for the Avanza Plan, with the aim of fostering the advancement of the Society de information in Spain.

The specific actions and initiatives undertaken within the framework of this agreement will be implemented in the corresponding addenda. The agreement will remain in effect until December 31, 2010, the closing date of the Avanza Plan.

The Avanza Plan is aimed at achieving the proper use of Technologies information and Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) to contribute to the success of a sustained economic growth model based on increased competitiveness and productivity, the promotion of social, regional and gender equality, and the improvement of the well-being and quality of life of citizens.

AECEM's purpose is to defend the professional and business interests of its members and to promote electronic commerce and direct and/or relational marketing in its different facets.
