The last activity in the courses of the New Economy Forum took place yesterday, to which Juan Pablo Lázaro Montero de Espinosa, president of the Madrid employers' association CEIM, was invited. He called for further work on labour reform, so that 400.000 jobs can be created in the next four years in the Community of Madrid.
The President reviewed current political and economic affairs and addressed himself primarily to small and medium-sized business owners in their efforts to revive the economy. He spoke of the financial crisis, the technological revolution, globalization—all the factors that businesses must consider to grow in competitiveness and productivity.
