MAPFRE has launched a new advisory service for Spanish companies in his jump abroad. Under the name of MAPFRE Passport, the company will accompany its business clients when they travel to other countries to cover all their insurance needs.

The program, which will be available free of charge to its business clients in Spain, starts in a first phase with Mexico as a destination. This country will serve as a testing ground for the possibility of extending the service later to other countries in Latin America.

In this way, MAPFRE wants to accompany companies in the process of making the leap to foreign markets or doing business in other countries, with the aim of facilitating their arrival and subsequent adaptation. Specifically, the program is offered to SMEs, to which the insurer provides a 360º service to facilitate their experience in other markets.

For example, the insurer provides specialized advice for commerce with tax, civil, legal or administrative guidance, on the one hand; digital heritage, with remote technological assistance service and all types of assistance (cloud backup, support for Office, network vulnerability analysis, etc.), on the other; bank card anti-fraud and in-person assistance.

In addition, each company will be able to have up to five passports for its displaced employees, collaborators or partners in the destination. Thus, the insurer also provides health and home assistance, as well as legal, financial, psychological or nutritional telephone guidance.

The insurer makes a whole series of services available to business clients to facilitate their activity in other countries.

Likewise, they will have extraordinary benefits, such as preferential treatment when contracting insurance in Mexico or a discount program in medical networks or laboratories and offices.

All these services will be provided through MAWDY, the MAPFRE Group's international assistance company. Customers may request their passport through the MAPFRE Passport website https://pasaporte.mapfre.com

As indicated Javier Oliveros, commercial director of MAPFRE Spain, this passport “is a way to continue providing service to our clients, when starting a business in another country, with the difficulties that this can entail at the beginning, especially in the bureaucratic field. The final objective is that this passport can also be offered to private clients. We start with companies showing our commitment to the Spanish business fabric and, above all, to small and medium-sized companies, so that they find in MAPFRE another partner in their growth and development process.”

MAPFRE is the benchmark insurer in the Spanish market, leader in the automobile, home and business business, among other branches, with more than 7 million clients, nearly 11.000 employees in Spain and around 3.000 offices distributed throughout the territory. , in which it offers personalized advice to its clients.
