The Port of Algeciras begins the commercial mission to the Southern Cone

It starts in Buenos Aires

[Img # 22592]La Port Authority of the Bay of Algeciras (APBA) and a prominent delegation of companies from the Port of Algeciras has started a complete trade mission at the Southern cone that has started in Buenos Aires, Argentina) and will conclude the week in Sao Paulo (Brazil).

This new entry into the Ibero-American market of the Strait of Gibraltar is supported by ICEX and Extenda and is part of the ITI (Integrated Territorial Investment) program of the province of Cadiz.

 

 

Likewise in Tucuman, the Argentine province that generates the largest export of citrus fruits, the delegation of Port of Algeciras has visited the Bishop Colombres Experimental Station, a pioneer in pest prevention for all citrus fruits exported from the area. There, companies operating in the Port of Algeciras have been received by the Minister of Productive Development, Juan Luis Fernández.

 

In 2016, citrus imports from Argentina in refrigerated containers grew by 50% in the Port of Algeciras.

 

In the mission, in addition to the Port Authority, participate Algetransit, Bernardino Abad, Buqueland, Southern Europe Customs Warehouse, ECS360, TibaGroup and Total LogisticServices, Transit 2000.
