Artistic production in Morocco from independence to the present

That is the intention of the director of the Reina Sofia Museum and commissioner, Manuel Borja Villel, together with Abdellah Karroum, of the exhibition "Moroccan Trilogy 1950-2020", an exhibition that reflects the artistic production in Morocco from independence to the present, through a selection of pieces that show the diversity of initiatives in that country.

This exhibition is made up of 250 works on display, produced between 1950 and 2020, which establish a route that shows the diversity of artistic expressions of the Morocco modern, highlighting the leading figures of each era, from the transition to independence (1950-1969) and the so-called "years of lead" (1970-1999) to the present day (2000-2020).
