SIL incorporates "Toc 2004 Europe", an event aimed at the port sector

The International Logistics Exhibition (SIL) will hold its sixth edition from May 25 to 28, 2004, at the Monjuïc exhibition center in Barcelona.

This year, for the first time at the event, the "Toc 2004 Europe" conference will be held, organized by SIL and Informa Maritime & Transport Events. It is an essential event for port equipment manufacturers, transit lines, information technology systems, terminal operators, and port authorities.

Also taking place in parallel is the 2nd Mediterranean Logistics Forum with its Business Meetings, organized jointly with ASCAME (Association of Mediterranean Chambers of Commerce) and ICEX.

Once again, the most important sectors of logistics will be represented at SIL 2004: equipment and handling; distribution, services, technologies and transport.

The International Logistics Exhibition, the second largest in Europe in the logistics sector, has been held annually for the past five years at Fira de Montjuïc, organized by the Consorci de la Zona Franca de Barcelona and with the participation of CEL in the organization of its Symposium and Technical Conferences.

In its latest edition, from June 17 to 20 of this year, it brought together 500 exhibiting companies in 60.000 square meters of exhibition space, attracting over 33.000 professionals. The International Logistics Exhibition reaffirms its position as the meeting point for all logistics activity in Southern Europe, the Mediterranean basin, especially the Maghreb countries, Latin America, and Southeast Asia.
