RAJA® Packaging gains muscle in Europe after the commercial agreement with Ranpack

The objective of this agreement between Embalajes RAJA® and Ranpak is to respond to the growing demand for sustainable alternatives to plastic packaging and help their customers comply with current regulations: in March 2024, the European Union agreed to new standards with the goal of achieving 100% recyclable packaging by 2030.

RAJA® Packaging, European leader in packaging distribution, and Ranpak, a leader in ecological paper packaging solutions, have signed a commercial agreement to strengthen their presence in the European market. The main objective is to jointly develop paper-based padding and protection solutions to meet the growing demand for sustainable alternatives from customers, especially in sectors such as e-commerce and industrial supply chains.

 

The alliance between both companies will allow Embalajes RAJA® and Ranpak to offer their Spanish clients operating in Europe a complete range of customized paper packaging solutions. Among them, solutions for sensitive products stand out. temperature, such as RecyCold Climaliner, which guarantee protection during transport.

 

The agreement will allow them to jointly develop paper-based quilting solutions and thus respond to the growing demand of their clients in Spain, who are looking for a distributor to accompany them throughout the continent.

 

 

This agreement responds to the growing demand for sustainable alternatives to plastic packaging and the commitment of both companies to environmental regulations. In this sense, it is worth noting that the European Union agreed in March 2024 to new rules requiring all packaging to be 100% recyclable by 2030.

 

To guarantee the best service to its customers, Embalajes RAJA® will incorporate 20 specialists into its team dedicated to providing personalized advice on the most appropriate paper-based protective packaging solution for each product and supply chain.

The collaboration between Embalajes RAJA® and Ranpak dates back to the 80s, when the Spanish company became the first distributor of Ranpak packaging systems in Europe. Since then, Embalajes RAJA® has sold and installed thousands of these systems in 17 countries on the continent.
