The marble companies of the Murcia, a sector that is consolidating its position as Spain's seventh largest exporter, will have the opportunity to expand their business globally. This event, which will be held from September 23 to 27, is the world's leading meeting for the natural stone industry, covering the entire value chain, from extraction to the final product. For Murcia-based companies, Marmomac presents itself as a strategic platform for closing trade agreements and seeking new markets.
The Business Counselor, Marisa López AragónLópez Aragón emphasized the importance of the quality and innovation that characterize the regional sector, highlighting its export focus. "It is a priority to support the efforts of our companies and organize their participation in one of the most important trade fairs in Europe, where they can establish strategic contacts, close international deals, and position their products," he stated.
According to the most recent data, in the first five months of the year, marble and natural stone exports from the Region reached 11,9 million euros. A total of 46 Murcian companies exported their products, mainly to countries such as France, China, the United States, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Participation in the fair is part of the Foreign Promotion Plan driven by the Development Institute (Info), with the collaboration of the Chambers of Commerce of the RegionThis initiative is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Companies interested in joining the Murcia delegation have until September 7 to register through the Info website.
