More than 100 Spanish and Uzbek companies met last week at the first Spanish-Uzbek business forum in Tashkent to organize the first session of the Spain-Uzbekistan Intergovernmental Commission. This important instrument for relations between countries allows for streamlining processes and agreements between nations that directly benefit the sector addressed.

Samarkand, gateway to Uzbekistan for Spanish companies

 

One of the most important meetings carried out by the Spanish delegation during its visit to Uzbekistan was with the officials of the Samarkand Governorate, a strategic city for commerce and tourism in the region.

ACIR Southern Europe and the governorate of Samarkand, signed during the edition of FITUR 2023 an agreement for cooperation and representation of the region in the countries of Southern Europe, which offers a range of possibilities for trade and investments between companies.
