Spain – Paraguay
Increasing business and investment between Paraguay and Spain and removing barriers between Mercosur and the EU to foster a more intense trade flow are among the topics discussed at the business meeting "Business Opportunities in Paraguay" held on October 2nd at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce.
The event was attended by Minister of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay, Gustavo Leite, el Minister of Industry, Energy and Tourism, José Manuel Soria, president of the Chamber of Spain, Joseph Louis Bonet, el vice president of the CEOE, Juan Pablo Lazaro and the Secretary of State for Commerce, Jaime García-Legaz.
During his speech, the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay Gustavo Leite described the potential of a country that offers opportunities in various sectors such as energy, agri-food and infrastructure, a country with a stable macroeconomy that aims to generate development in various areas and seeks to do so alliance between Paraguayan competitiveness and Spanish know-how.
