Paraguay-Spain Business Meeting

 

On the occasion of the next official visit of the President of the Government of Spain, Mr. Pedro Sánchez a Paraguay, the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE), the State Secretariat for Trade, through ICEX Spain Export and Investments) and Chamber of Commerce of Spain in collaboration with Industry and commerce ministry, through the Investment and Export Network of Paraguay – REDIEX and the Paraguayan Industrial Union organize a Paraguay-Spain Business Meeting July 23 at 9:00 a.m. at the Cultural Center of the Port of Asunción.

 

Paraguay has positioned itself as a gateway to Mercosur from a privileged geographical location in the center of the continent due to access to the waterway Paraguay-Paraná and the Bioceanic Route, which is currently under development.

 

This adds to other competitive advantages the country offers for foreign investment, such as low tax burden, access to clean and affordable energy based on hydroelectric production, a young and available workforce, and abundant natural resources. Opportunities are highlighted in established sectors, such as agriculture and food, and in developing sectors, such as the construction of transportation and energy infrastructure to drive the advancement of renewables, ICT, and electromobility.
