ESIC Promotes Global Education with its Master in International Trade & Business (MITB)

In an increasingly interconnected world, the need for professionals with a global vision and skills to manage international operations is crucial. ESIC Business & Marketing School responds to this demand with its Master in International Trade & Business (MITB), a cutting-edge program that seeks to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the complex global trade landscape.

El MITB is designed to provide a deep understanding of the drivers of globalization, the process of internationalization of companies, and how the global economic environment influences companies' competitive responses. The 12-month master's degree, with 60 ECTS credits, is taught in English at the Madrid campus, offering full- and part-time options to suit students' needs.

The program stands out for its practical, real-world-oriented approach, including specialized workshops such as an International Trade Simulator, Artificial Intelligence for International Trade, reverse logistics, and networking sessions with external speakers. In addition, students develop six practical projects that simulate real-life business situations, applying the methodology. Transformative Learning by ESICThis approach is based on real-world business knowledge, interpersonal skills development, a dedicated faculty, a diverse community, and comprehensive resources and services.

The MITB of ESIC has recognized international accreditations accreditation from organizations such as AMBA, EFMD (EPAS), and ANECA underscores its quality and academic excellence. In fact, ESIC has distinguished itself as the first business school internationally to have four EPAS-accredited master's programs, including MITB. Furthermore, prestigious rankings such as El Mundo's "Ranking 250 Master" have consistently placed MITB in first position in the field of International Trade and Business.

The program's leadership has emphasized the importance of a strong and inclusive global trading system for a vibrant world economy. In the words attributed to the leadership: «In the long run, there is no way to have a strong, vibrant global economy unless there is a strong, vibrant, and inclusive global trade system.» (In the long run, there is no way to have a strong and vibrant global economy unless there is a strong, vibrant and inclusive global trading system.)

The program not only focuses on training in Madrid but also offers international opportunities, such as the chance to study for two months at Shanghai University, earning a certificate from the Chinese university, which reinforces ESIC's commitment to strategic markets such as Asia. Eduardo Gómez Martín, ESIC's General Manager, emphasized the importance of these international ties and preparing students for the global market.

MITB graduates are prepared to evaluate, manage and implement strategies in international markets, identify the reasons and means for accessing foreign markets, address controversial issues in international trade and business, and formulate their own international business plans. The career opportunities are broad, with a significant percentage of students pursuing careers in the international arena.

ESIC consolidates itself year after year as a comprehensive and innovative training proposal, essential for professionals seeking to lead the international expansion of organizations and gain a deep understanding of the dynamics of global markets.
