CHALLENGE THE CHALLENGE: ALBERT SERRA IN CONVERSATION WITH LÁZARO GABINO RODRÍGUEZ

Friday, June 2, 17 p.m. / MUAC Auditorium

Albert Serra's irreverence is sustained by his brilliant film daring. With a focus on improvisation and creative freedom, his vision challenges the conventions of traditional cinematic storytelling in an exploration of themes such as identity, power and history. On more than one occasion the Catalan filmmaker has called himself “one of the five best in the history of Spanish cinema”, this conversation with Lázaro Gabino Rodríguez could well serve to demonstrate that he does not lie.
