Coinciding with the Christmas campaign, a series of promotional actions for products from this Spanish Autonomous Community have been launched.

Throughout December, several food establishments in Spain, Portugal, Germany, and Austria will be promoting products from Extremadura, specifically those from various companies in the region. This promotional campaign, launched in conjunction with the Christmas season, aims to showcase products from this Spanish autonomous community.
"Foods of Extremadura" is the promotional brand designed by the Junta de Extremadura to identify regional food products; it is a seal of identity for any product produced, processed and packaged in Extremadura and a common element of promotion.
The promotions include tastings of different products, specific posters for "Foods of Extremadura" and catalogs in which the products included in the promotions will be identified.
In the case of Portugal, the promotion will take place at El Corte Inglés in Lisbon, where every weekend in December there will be tastings of the products, where different types of sausages and cheeses from the region will be available to try.
In Germany, the promotion will take place in 27 stores belonging to the German retail chain Galeries Kaufhof. Products bearing the seal will be displayed in designated areas of the stores, decorated with promotional signage. Two tastings of various products will be held at each store, in a total of 20 of the 27 participating locations.
Similarly, 'Alimentos de Extremadura' will also be present in 12 Metro Cash & Carry stores in Austria. The products will be displayed in designated areas of the stores decorated with promotional materials, and two product tastings will be held at each location.
