Brandstorm 2014 International Final
Deusto Business School and the University of Alicante competed against more than 40 teams from around the world.
That Spanish talent continues to be a highly exportable product is, once again, demonstrated by the presence of two Spanish universities en Paris, in the international final of Brandstorm 2014, the marketing game of The real.
Al day D 43 finalist teams arrived after a competition in which more than 13.000 students from 360 of the best universities around the worldAfter 22 years of history, this game is already an international reference for advertising and marketing students.
The team University of Alicante was the winner along with Indonesia of the digital version of the game with This Video, in the case of the first time that a Spanish team has achieved this feat. A success crowned by the fact that, in addition, Spain has become the only country with two teams in the final.
Since its creation in 1992, nearly 80.000 students - 13.000 this year - from 360 universities and 45 countries have participated in this competition.
The other group of students, coming from Deusto Business School (Campus Bilbao), became the national winners, after work for nine months in a business plan for the men's line of Kieh'ls, one of the leading brands in the luxury cosmetics market. The university students combined their studies with very intense field work, which allowed them to present their product to the company's executives. L'Oréal Spain a product with a high level of prior analysis of the market and the competition, as well as a great communicative and teamwork impact.
The three international winners, in addition to Spain and Indonesia, were: Malaysia in first place, followed by Pakistan and Japan, in second and third place, respectively, who obtained Prizes: 10.000, 5.000 and 2.500 euros.
Since its creation in 1992, mMore than 70.000 students from 45 countries around the world have participated in Brandstorm, positioning itself as a strong tool for attracting talent. Every year, between 150 and 200 participants are recruited for internships or full-time positions within the company.
