Even though Trump has promised to carry out a mass deportation, the financial, legal and logistical hurdles at every step of the identification, detention and removal process will limit the government's ability. That's without taking into account the enormous economic impact this would have on sectors such as agriculture and construction, where immigrants make up a fundamental part of the workforce.
