Everything ready for the 15th edition of Motortec Automechanika Madrid

More than 700 companies will exhibit

The international reference fair for the automotive after-sales sector.

La Spanish Association of Automotive Suppliers (SERNAUTO), as an entity that holds the Presidency of the Organizing Committee, has actively collaborated with the fair team to make it a success both at the level of exhibitors and visitors. According to the organizers, more than 60.000 professionals from all over the world are expected to attend the fair, especially from Portugal, Latin America and North Africa.

 

This edition, in Motortech More than 700 companies will exhibit, among which are the main manufacturers of automotive components. Large Spanish companies, foreign multinationals with plants in Spain and a good number of small and medium-sized companies specialized in the manufacture of quality spare parts valued internationally. At their stands, companies will exhibit their latest developments and carry out demonstrations and training activities for professionals who come there.

 

Component manufacturers contribute significantly to our country's economy and society. The sector's turnover has reached 36.200 billion euros, of which 5.315 million euros come from the spare parts market, a record for this industry.

 

In addition, they make a large investment in the country, not only to increase and improve their productive capacities but also especially in I+D+i, representing 4,2% of the sector's turnover (1.530 million euros). This data demonstrates the strong commitment that the sector makes to technological differentiation, positioning itself as one of the most innovative industries in the country.

 

“These figures are the result of the constant effort that component manufacturers make to offer our customers the best products and solutions adapted to their demands. We can proudly say that we are strategic partners of all vehicle manufacturer brands and the main spare parts distribution groups,” he comments. As highlighted, Motortec Automechanika Madrid It is one of the main fairs of Europe for the after-sales sector, hence the high interest of companies in exhibiting there.

Within the framework of the fair, SERNAUTO will celebrate the 1st edition of its Tributes “Outstanding contribution to the automotive components sector” in which the work of the following personalities will be recognized:

Mariluz Barreiros, President of the Barreiros Foundation

The awards will be presented on Friday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m., in an event at the stand of SERNAUTO (Connection Halls 3-5 / Stand 5A00).

 

Likewise, the Association will take advantage of this event to present two projects of special interest for the supplier industry in Spain:

 

Wednesday March 13 (17:00 p.m.): Presentation of the 'Autoparts from Spain' platform. Concept, evolution and actions 2019.

 

Thursday March 14 (17:00 p.m.): Presentation of 'Automotive Meetings', the 1st. international event for the automotive supply chain that we have managed to bring to Spain and which will be held in June.
