Fluvi will parade on a float, among other activities
Expo Zaragoza 2008 will have a prominent role in the final Pilar festivities before the opening of the International Exposition on June 14th.
On Saturday, October 6, Expo will participate in the parade preceding the opening ceremony, featuring a float with Fluvi as its main attraction. Following this initial burst of festivities, Plaza del Pilar will host the "Time of Water" show, commissioned by Expo Zaragoza and produced by Focus. The show will include acrobats, trapeze artists, balloons, and paragliders, adding color to the opening moments of the celebrations.
Throughout the week, other activities are planned, such as sponsoring the Rod Stewart concert and Children's Hospital Day, during which Fluvi will visit children at the Miguel Servet Hospital and give them gifts from the International Exposition. Expo will also share its information point located in Plaza del Pilar, where citizens can go to obtain information about the festival program and the International Exposition itself.
Expo Zaragoza will once again be present at the Trade Fair with its own stand, where a virtual representation of Fluvi will invite children and adults to participate in a question-and-answer game about the Expo and the Environment. In addition, the children's book "Willy in Zaragoza: The Great Enigma" will be presented on Thursday the 11th.
The volunteers from Expo Zaragoza 2008 will once again lend their support during the Pilar festivities and, in addition to being present at the activities that take place throughout the week, they will act as guides in different parts of the city, offering specialized information about the city and the International Exhibition.
