Andalusia has seen significant growth in its aeronautical exports during the first ten months of 2024, reaching 2.228 billion euros. This 53% year-on-year increase exceeds the national average and places the community as a key player in the sector.
According to reports from Andalucía TRADE - Business Agency for Economic Transformation and Development of the Andalusian Government, these data show that Seville continues to be the spearhead province of the sector, since it concentrates practically all sales (98%), with 2.192 million, and a 53% year-on-year growth.
With these sales figures, the Andalusian aeronautical industry contributes a total of 2024 million euros to the trade balance of Andalusia from January to October 1.404. Andalusia is the second exporting community after the Community of Madrid (52%) and above the Basque Country (6,7%).

Likewise, exports from the Andalusian aeronautical sector during the first ten months of 2024 correspond to an advance, mainly, in Asia, with more than double sales, as it has risen by 110%, to a turnover of 346 million euros; and in America, which also grew by 9,3%, with a turnover of 208 million. Europe remains in the lead, with 72% of the total, and sales of 1.604 million, an increase of 48%.
Regarding destination countries, the high growth rates of the Top 10 are striking, led by Germany, , which grew by 277% to reach 796 million euros (36% of the total), followed by France, with 544 million euros, a growth of 39% and a weight of 24,4%; and India, which rises to third position with 187 million (8,4%) and a rise of 308%, quadrupling its figures.
Brunei and Belgium They recorded spectacular increases in their purchases from Andalusia, of 146.590% and 2.819% respectively.
"Andalucía TRADE continues working to boost the industry worldwide, together with the Andalucía Aerospace cluster," sources from the agency stated. Among the initiatives to promote the sector are trade missions to India, Germany and the United Kingdom, as well as participation in international fairs such as Paris Air Show Le Bourget and Farnborough UK.
In addition to international promotion actions, Andalucía TRADE has launched an aid programme with 244 million euros in incentives for SMEs and self-employed workers in the sector, with the aim of promoting innovation and technological development.
