Extenda-Andalusia Export and Foreign Investment works continuously on a strategy of advising Andalusian companies in order to promote its activity abroad through its 'Brand Strategy and Positioning' Consulting, whose new call opened in April and will remain open until March 2, 2023.
Through this service, more than 140 Andalusian companies have already been able to learn first-hand about the benefits and conditions that a strategy and study of their brand requires in any outside market, and optimize its result through a deep individualized consulting analysis that defines the appropriate guidelines to achieve it.
The objective of this service is for companies to obtain a detailed analysis of the communication elements of their brand, from the logo, name, brochures or packaging, culminating in the design of an effective strategy that helps the company and its brand to compete in international markets.
The new call for this program opened last April, and there have been 17 companies that have already enjoyed this advice through expert consulting, with the call for new companies to register remaining open until March 2, 2023. This service can be accessed by Andalusian companies from any sector of activity that have a turnover of at least 50.000 euros, except for companies from incubation, acceleration, memorization programs, or certain European programs to support and encourage SMEs, in which case They are not required to comply with the billing requirement.
The service is designed for both Andalusian companies that have experience in international markets and they want to promote and consolidate the positioning of their brand in a target market; as well as for those small or young companies with little international experience and that are launching into new markets; or companies that are directly in the process of redesigning their brand and image for international markets, as long as they have the necessary resources to do so.
The organization of this action by Extenda will be co-financed with funds from the European Union the PO FEDER of Andalusia 2014-2020, endowed with a community contribution of 80%.
The companies participating in this program come from very diverse sectors of activity, from agri-food, to consumer and technology, through industrial and service fields.
In previous editions, 22% of the companies came from Seville; by 17% of firms located in Cordoba, while 15% were companies Granada. For its part, Jaén and Almería They contributed 12% each; while the companies Malaga They represented 11% of the total, and Cadiz and Huelva 8% and 3% respectively.

Historical support for businesses
In its process of supporting the internationalization of Andalusian companies, Extenda reinforced its Consulting services with the incorporation of innovative services, as well as with the improvement of those it already had in place. Thus, at the end of 2021, it launched new services such as Commercial Intelligence or International Logistics and Transportation, that join others already active such as Legal Advice or International Digital Marketing.
In this way, the public company makes available to Andalusian companies a wide portfolio of tailored Consulting services, with more than a dozen of them, which offer personalized support in key areas of foreign trade such as brand strategy, international implementation, the search for financing, logistics, digital marketing or legal security.
With the expansion of its service offering, Extenda broke its own record in 2021 for Consulting services that offer individualized advice to SMEs to successfully address their exit abroad and carried out 340 personalized consulting services last year, which This is 62% more than in 2020, when it already developed the largest number of advisory actions in the historical series, with a total of 210, which exceeded the participation in services by 130 from the last best record figure recorded.
So far in 2022, Extenda has already developed 241 consulting actions, in which 196 companies from Andalusia have participated. These tailored consulting services are provided by experts in their respective areas and with extensive experience in internationalization.
More than a dozen services
One of the new features that Extenda incorporated into the Consulting services is the Commercial Intelligence service, which allows identifying market trends to improve the competitiveness of companies and successfully develop their business plans. international expantion; just like him International Logistics and Transportation service, Designed for companies that require advice in these areas and improve the competitiveness of their international operations.
In addition, the Legal Advice for Internationalization service offers tailored advice both at origin and destination to address many of the issues that may arise during the execution of the foreign plan on procedures related to Commercial, Labor and Tax Law in 67 countries in Europe, Latin America, MENA region and Asia Pacific.
Service Marketplaces opened a call this August, offering advice for launching your online store in a marketplace, as a way to accelerate your internationalization process.
The Financing service seeks to help improve the economic-financial structure to increase your possibilities of accessing financing; while with the International Digital Marketing service Extenda advises on the development or improvement of the International Digital Marketing Plan of the company. Finally, the International Implementation service aims to ensure that companies that want to launch subsidiaries abroad can count on specialized technical advice to do so with guarantees.
