Aimed at Andalusian companies from all sectors of activity
Presidency, Public Administration and Interior promotes this new consulting service for Andalusian companies on commercial, labor and tax law in 61 countries.
Extenda-Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency, entity dependent on the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior, has launched a new program Legal Advice for the Internationalization of the Andalusian Company. This program is aimed at Andalusian companies of all sectors of activity that require advice on any of the various legal aspects that may arise during the implementation or execution of their action plans in their target markets.
Based on the experience acquired in supporting the Andalusian firms and their needs, and aware of the importance of them having adequate legal advice when approaching projects abroad, extend has opened the call for this new consulting service for those companies that require legal advice for the development of their internationalization plans.
Through this new program, extend will provide Andalusian companies that request technical assistance to resolve legal issues that they need to resolve in their international development process in the commercial, labor and tax fields, in a geographical area of 61 countries on the five continents.
“This will allow companies to export and operate abroad with greater legal certainty, since they will be provided with sufficient and precise information, through reports or opinions on key aspects of their operations. foreign trade", assured the CEO of Extenda, Arturo Bernal.
In this sense, Bernal has explained that with this program, companies “will be able to learn in detail fundamental issues such as requirements for the introduction of products in different destinations, contracting international commercial or on the establishment of subsidiaries in their target markets.”
Five geographical areas
Specifically, extend will offer specialized legal consulting in matters related to commercial, labor and tax law as applicable regulations on the introduction of specific services; protection of intellectual and industrial property rights; opening of branches and other forms of establishment in destination; implementation of legal relationships with local partners; expatriation of workers, temporary displacements and application of international agreements; tax treatment at origin or destination; and taxation of financing or investment.
The application submission period will be open until November 13, 2020. If the budget is exhausted before the scheduled closing date, extend will publish a statement on its website informing of the end of the program term.
The service providers on behalf of Extenda will be the firmEY (formerly Ernst & Young Abogados) -in four of the indicated geographical areas-, as well as the UTE-ATD Crowe Global -in the zone of North America-.
The organization of this action by Extenda will be co-financed with funds from the European Union through the P.EITHER. ERDF of Andalusia 2014-2020, endowed with a community contribution of 80%.
Specialized technical staff
Participating companies will make a request to Extenda indicating both the specific aspects on which they require advice and the countries that will be subject to it.
Afterwards, Andalusian companies will have technical personnel specialized in legal consulting who will advise them in a completely individualized manner and adapted to their specific needs. The program includes a face-to-face meeting between the consultant and the company, as well as additional sessions, according to the needs of the company receiving the service.
The result of the consultancy will materialize in specific documents that will be delivered to the companies receiving the service, accompanied by a final execution report.
