A dozen of Andalusian companies in the music industry sector has presented its proposals to ten directors and programmers of festivals and music circuits from nine countries in the international business meeting organized by the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interiorthrough Extenda-Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency, within the framework of the independent music festival 'Monkey Week SON Estrella Galicia' de Seville.
The meeting began yesterday, Thursday the 21st, with more than a hundred b2b interviews being held at the headquarters of Extenda in Seville and has continued today, Friday, November 22, with the attendance of foreign agents at the 'showcases' starring Andalusian musical groups in different parts of the city. Likewise, guests will have the opportunity to witness the performances of the scheduled Andalusian groups.
extend has invited you to participate in this commercial forum that is integrated into the 'sectionMonkey Brain of the festival, to festival programmers and directors, organizers of musical circuits, directors of concert halls, as well as other profiles of interest to the Andalusian music sector from Netherlands, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Mexico, France, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
With this, the aim is to put in contact the artistic offer of the Andalusian companies of the independent music sector with a selection of those responsible for circuits and festivals from different countries, so as to generate exit routes to the international market for the music industry of Andalucía.

Andalusian delegation
The participating Andalusian companies come from Seville (Loveplugged, Shogunato, Spyro Music, Strange Animals, Wearewolves Records, Atticus Arquitectura de Ideas and Educomex); of Cadiz (ArtistsOntheWay and Flecha Wallona); Almeria (Sound Disorder); Jaen (The Tiger Mussels); and Cordoba (Qualica-RD). The organization of this action by Extenda will be co-financed with funds from the European Union through the FEDER OP of Andalusia 2014-2020, endowed with a community contribution of 80%.
Extenda support for the music sector

The 11th edition of the annual meetingMonkey Week It is celebrated between November 19 and 23 in Seville, where the festival fills key cultural and leisure spaces of the city such as the Alameda de Hércules, the Espacio de Santa Clara, theaters and numerous musical venues in the area.
This year, the Sevillian festival has 165 live performances and 127 artists from 20 different countries. Furthermore, thanks to the conferences Eventbrite Monkey Brain, is once again the essential meeting point for the music industry, promoting debate and business for professionals in the sector through multiple activities. In 2018, this event attracted the presence of more than 1.200 music industry professionals and had more than 10.000 people as an audience.
