Extenda promotes six real estate firms from Almería, Cádiz and Málaga at the 'Second Home' fair in Brussels

Knowledge, Research and University organizes for the second time the presence in this forum considered one of the most important residential exhibitions in Belgium.


Second Home Brussels.A total of six Andalusian companies of the real estate have moved to the autumn edition of the Brussels 'Second Home' Fair, which took place from September 22 to 23 at the fairgrounds Brussels Expo of the Belgian city, within the framework of a trade mission organized by the Ministry of Knowledge, Research and Universitythrough Extenda-Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency.

                       

This is the second action undertaken extend at this fair, one of the most important second home exhibitions in Belgium and, therefore, a fundamental space for Andalusian companies to identify the business opportunities offered by the Belgian market. It brings together a wide range of real estate agents and project developers from around 20 countries.

 

Through this action, the Andalusian exhibiting firms have been able to meet with both end clients and Belgian and Dutch agencies present at the exhibition, for which they have had the support of the Extenda office in Belgium.

 

During the days in which the event has taken place, visitors to the fair have contacted real estate agencies and developers who have shown them their residences abroad, in this case in Andalusia, and Belgium. The frequency of the fair is biannual (summer and autumn) and is held each time in a different Belgian city (Brussels, Ghent or Antwerp). In addition, it has an average of visitors of around 4.500, while its last edition brought together 130 exhibitors.

 

 

 

 

The most attractive markets for companies in the sector are Morocco, China, the USA, Sweden, Colombia and Bolivia

 

 

 

 

The Andalusian companies that have participated in this mission come from Malaga (Quorum Estates, Vive Soluciones Inmobiliarias and MXM New Homes); Cadiz (Atlanterra Real Estate); and Almeria (Hacienda Los Herreros and Newexpovivienda). The organization of this action by Extenda will be co-financed with funds from the European Union through the P.EITHER. ERDF of Andalusia 2014-2020, endowed with a community contribution of 80%

 

Extenda support to the real estate sector

 

extend has been supporting the internationalization of the Andalusian real estate sector through different activities such as business meetings, direct and reverse trade missions, participation in international fairs in the sector and other information, training and training actions aimed at professional development.

 

In 2017, a total of 349 companies in the community's real estate sector have participated in 128 actions promoted by extend which have resulted in a total of 689 participations. Likewise, so far from 2018 until September, this figure for the entire year has already been exceeded with a total of 465 companies that have participated in 102 actions promoted by Extenda.

 

Throughout 2017, the majority of the companies that have had the support of Extenda are located in Seville (42% of the total and 148 companies), followed by Malaga (20% and 70), Granada (13,4% and 47), Cadiz (6,8% and 24), Cordoba (6% and 21), Almeria (4,8% and 17); Jaen (4% and 14 signatures) and Huelva (8 companies); which have been especially interested in business opportunity services, sector portal Real Estate Andalusia, technical conferences and seminars.

 

On the other hand, the most attractive markets for companies in the sector are Morocco, China, USA, Sweden, Colombia and Bolivia. In this sense, to close the annual programming, extend will organize the participation of the sector in the 10th International Real Estate Meeting which will take place from November 14 to 16, 2018 in Cadiz and Malaga. The application admission period is open until September 28 inclusive.
