Extenda-Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency, entity dependent on the Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administration and Interior, has organized a webinar cycle with more than twenty sessions to inform the Andalusian companies about the challenges and business opportunities in the current framework of the Covid-19 in the member countries of its Exterior Network.

 

El CEO of Extenda, Arturo Bernal, has pointed out that “with this new service we continue to adapt to provide an agile and useful response to Andalusian companies, evolving according to their needs and applying business intelligence in our solutions for their transformation into specific positioning and marketing actions in the face of the current crisis of Covid-19".

 

In this sense, Arturo Bernal encouraged the exporting firms to participate in these strategic sessions to find out about new opportunities "because the business community is called to be, as in the 2008 crisis, the driving force of the Andalusian economy by being responsible for more than doubling the community's exports." between 2009 and 2019.”

 

The objective of this initiative focuses on responding to the doubts raised by the Andalusian business community in response to the evaluation of the global pandemic, especially to provide solutions to the challenges faced by the 55 countries that are part of the Extenda Foreign Network. Therefore, the directors of a large part of the Agency Offices and Antennas They will prepare different webinars to report on the economic impact of Covid -19 in their territory.

 

In this way, the effects that the pandemic is causing in the different sectors of activity will be analyzed from the current situation and general perspectives, and even the opportunities detected as a result of this situation for Andalusian companies. For its part, Dominican Republic It is the third destination for Andalusian exports in Latin America, to which it sold goods in the first quarter of the year for 29,8 million, almost double that of the same period as the previous year.
