Extenda: "We have our focus on Africa and Asia"

Interview with Vanessa Bernard González, CEO of Extenda

Last week, the "Financial support for business internationalization" conference took place at the Seville Chamber of Commerce.

La Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency (EXTENDA) participated in a round table in addition to signing a collaboration agreement with COFIDES in aid of financing of Andalusian companies in their internationalization process.

We had the opportunity to interview Vanessa Bernard González, CEO of Extenda and gave us very interesting data in relation to the exports of the Andalusian community.

"Last year we surpassed ourselves with over 26 billion euros in exports. The weight of exports as a percentage of GDP has doubled, growing 33 points above the average. We have overtaken Catalonia, placing us in first position in the agri-food and beverage sector, and although the trend remains towards Europe, we have our sights set on Asia and Africa."
