Extremadura Avante launches call for applications for trade mission to the United Arab Emirates

El Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) has announced the opening of the call organized by Extremadura Avante Advanced Services for SMEs SLUThe trade mission will take place in Dubai between April 21 and 25, 2025, with the main objective of exploring the local market and establishing contacts that facilitate the introduction or consolidation of Extremadura products and services.

Participation is limited to a maximum of seven companies, covering sectors such as health, pharmacy, biotechnology, cosmetics, technology applied to agriculture, agri-food and industry. These direct trade missions are a fundamental part of the effort to promote Capabilities business and increase exports.

The business relationship between Spain and Dubai has experienced remarkable growth in recent years. Spain is positioned as one of the main European trading partners for the United Arab EmiratesSpanish exports include machinery, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, as well as fashion and luxury goods, while Dubai mainly exports petrochemicals, metals and machinery to Spain.

The deadline for submitting applications begins tomorrow, Friday, December 27, 2024, and will run until Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Interested companies have six business days to formalize their participation in this strategic opportunity that seeks to boost the growth of the Extremadura business fabric through the international expantion.
