Extremadura boosts its foreign trade with aid to large companies for international fairs

 

The Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) has published a decree that seeks to strengthen the presence of large companies in the region in the global marketThe regulations establish the bases for granting subsidies that facilitate the participation of these companies in international fairs during the biennium 2025-2026.

 

This percentage increases to 75% for those companies that have exported to United States in the year prior to the call.

 

Investment and eligible expenses

 

Each beneficiary company will be eligible to receive up to €30,000 per application, with a minimum eligible investment of €5,000. These grants are broad in scope and cover a variety of key costs for participating in events of this type.

 

Eligible expenses include:

  • Logistics and assembly: Stand rental and design, assembly and disassembly, furniture and audiovisual equipment rental.

  • Staff and services: Hostess and translation services, sample transportation and insurance.

  • Promotion and representation: Staff travel, accommodation, and meals, as well as the creation of printed promotional materials.

  • Participation fees: Registration fees and rental of exhibition space, including additional services contracted with the fair organizers.

 

The deadline for submitting applications will be open from September 26, 2025 to July 31, 2026, or until the budget funds allocated for this program are exhausted.
