These trade missions are essential tools for promoting the internationalization of companies, seeking a significant increase in their export volume. The main objective of this initiative is to prospecting the Italian market and the establishment of key business contacts for the introduction or consolidation of Extremadura products and services in the country.
The mission will have a marked multisectoral agri-food character and will take place in Rome and its surroundings. Up to six companies who meet the requirements of the call, who will receive comprehensive technical advice from Extremadura Avante before, during and after the promotion action.

Both countries share a strategic position in southern Europe, which facilitates logistics and reduces transport costs, positioning them as key points for Mediterranean trade. The stability of political and economic relations, coupled with integration into the European Union With its common regulatory framework, it simplifies legal and administrative processes, eliminating barriers to investment and business expansion.
Furthermore, the cultural affinity between Spain and Italy fosters fluid communication and greater understanding in negotiations, facilitating the adaptation of products and services to local preferences and, consequently, increasing the chances of commercial success.

Establishing trade relations in Italy can also serve as a strategic platform for future expansion into other European markets, leveraging its role as a bridge to Central and Eastern Europe.
The deadline for submitting applications is six business days from the publication in the DOE, that is, from the June 20 to June 27, 2025, both inclusive. Interested companies should consult the official call for proposals for full details and participation requirements.
