Extremadura launches an ambitious mission in China to attract investments and consolidate exports

 

Between October 13 and 20, 2024, a delegation of Estremadura led by the Minister of Economy, Employment and Digital Transformation, Guillermo Santamaría, will carry out an intense commercial mission in China.

 

The Secretary General of Economy, Business and Commerce, Victor Piriz, stressed that this strategy, promoted by the government of Maria Guardiola, doubles the budget allocated to attracting investment and sets a new focus: “we are no longer going to wait for investors, but we are going after them.” In addition, a permanent antenna will be opened in Pekin to facilitate business relations and speed up future contacts.
