Fepex and Garrigues will provide training and specialized legal support in Agribusiness

Collaboration agreement is signed

The agreement will allow FEPEX to have stable and recurring support from Garrigues' Agribusiness area for the organization of talks and training events such as those they have been carrying out in recent times with some of their associations, such as Coexphal, Proexport and Freshuelva, among others.

The Spanish Federation of Associations of Exporting Producers of Fruits, Vegetables, Flowers and Live Plants (FEPEX) and the law firm Garrigues have signed a collaboration agreement with the objective of providing the associations integrated in the Federation and the associated companies with top-level training events and access to the team of specialists in the area of Garrigues Agribusiness

 

The agreement will allow FEPEX to have stable and recurring support from Garrigues' Agribusiness area. for the organization of talks and training events like those they have been carrying out in recent times with some of their associations, such as Coexphal, Proexport and Freshuelva, among others. 

 

Likewise, Garrigues Agribusiness experts will advise FEPEX on the analysis of legislative developments and the interpretation of laws and regulations that specifically affect the food sector and to producers and exporters of fruits, vegetables, flowers and live plants. In addition, Garrigues will be designated as Fepex's preferred advisor on agri-food matters. 

 

Both parties reinforce their collaboration to face the regulatory changes that affect fruit and vegetable production and marketing.

 

Within this framework are the meetings held by FEPEX and Garrigues with the Food Information and Control Agency (AICA) to provide the best possible information on one of the topics that most concern the fruit and vegetable sector, such as food chain law enforcement.

 

The president of FEPEX, Jorge F. Brotóns, considers that this agreement will contribute to face the legislative challenge in which the fruit and vegetable and flower and plant sectors have been immersed, with new regulations that significantly affect both production and marketing.
