The Spanish IT multinational fibertel has revealed its firm intention to accelerate its growth at an international level, setting as its objective that its billing abroad represents 20% of its total business over a two-year horizon. Of the €57,5 million invoiced by the company in the 2024 financial year, 12,2% originated in international marketsCurrently, around 18% of its workforce already works outside of Spain.
Tomás Callejo, director of /fdata, the company's data center division, emphasized that this is an "ambitious goal that reflects our firm intention to continue growing in strategic markets and strengthening our global presence."
Fibratel's expansion strategy is based on a model of supporting its customers in the countries where they require its services. The company offers comprehensive and customized solutions for each market, as demonstrated in Mexico and Portugal, where he maintains operations for various companies that already rely on his experience in Spain.
Its expansion strategy focuses on accompanying its clients to new countries, with
global solutions adapted to each market
A prominent case is Argentina, where Fibratel began its activity six years ago to carry out several projects in Buenos Aires for one of its main Spanish clients. “This initial experience allowed us to gain firsthand knowledge of the Argentine market and establish an operational base that has become consolidated over time. Argentina, with a turnover of €1,5 million, has become a strategic point in our expansion in Latin America, both for the opportunities it offers and for the trust we continue to generate among our clients,” Callejo added.
Looking ahead to 2025, the international expantion will continue to be a priority for Fibratel. “We are always actively exploring new international openings, and our clients are asking us to support their projects in other countries, both in Europe as in Latin America", concluded Tomás Callejo.
