The city of Guadalajara inaugurated the first edition of Mexico Hospitality Expo (MHE), a new and ambitious event that arises from the strategic collaboration between Fira de Barcelona, through its renowned brand Hostelco and Expo GuadalajaraThis fair, dedicated entirely to the hospitality and catering industry, arrives with the firm intention of promoting innovation and sustainability, seeking to consolidate itself as the main meeting point for key players in the sector. The Expo Guadalajara exhibition center hosts more than 9,000 exhibiting brands from 300 countries across its 10 square meters. These companies present a wide range of solutions, from cutting-edge equipment and machinery to specialized technology, tableware and service, interior design furniture and textiles, a select selection of food and beverages, as well as solutions for delivery, transportation, and various essential services for the hospitality and catering industry. Along with Mexico, the participation of companies from Spain, Italy, United States, Belgium, France, Sweden, Japan, Peru and China, which underlines the international character of the event.
The organizers of SHPP They expect to attract a total of 5,000 professional visitors, an estimated 15% of whom will come from Central America and the Caribbean. The event's agenda includes highly relevant meetings such as the Quarterly Meeting of the National Assembly of the Hotel and Motel Association and the Third International Congress of the International Circle of Hotel ManagersKeynote speakers include Claudia Cárdenas, Vice President of Human Resources at Talent4Process; Enrique Suarez del Tostado, Secretary of Tourism for the State of Nayarit; and Miguel Angel Bermejo, Vice President of Human Resources at Hyatt Inclusive Collection.
Likewise, MHE is the stage for the VI International Meeting on Hospitality Design & Wellness: Mexico-Caribbean, organized for the first time outside Spain by Piscina Barcelona, the leading European trade fair for the swimming pool, wellness, and outdoor sectors, to be held in November in the Catalan capital. This event is aimed at architects, interior designers, hotel and wellness center managers, as well as solution providers, and will feature presentations, case studies, roundtable discussions, and business meetings. Mexico Hospitality Expo is part of the ambitious events program that Fira de Barcelona International is developing outside of Spain in 2025. With a dozen confirmed events, the Catalan trade fair institution is consolidating its international expansion strategy. Among the scheduled events are also editions of Smart City Expo in cities like New York (USA), Curitiba (Brazil), Puebla (Mexico), Santiago del Estero (Argentina), Santiago de Chile (Chile), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) and Tomorrow City in Shanghai. This list is joined by IOT Brasil in Sao Paulo, Alimentaria Chengdu in China, and Tomorrow Blue Economy in Niteroi.
