Andalusian firms hold more than 200 meetings with international operators at the VI Contract Meeting

A score of Andalusian companies of the habitat, construction materials, architecture and hospitality sectors maintain, from this November 12th until November 15th in Seville, more than 200 work meetings with eleven international prescribers of first level of six countries, in the 'VI International Contract Meeting Andalusia'Organized by the Ministry of Knowledge, Research and Universitythrough Extenda-Andalusian Foreign Promotion Agency.

Adame Correderas, Contracts & Interiors and Rafitextil DTT 3.8), Granada (Artisan Carpets La Alpujarreña), Huelva (Alfalite), Jaen (Mugali and Alvic) Malaga (Belda Interiorismoy Sunso) and Seville (Hispabaño, La Cartuja de Sevilla 1841, Poltini Design, Finsa, Habitando Alcalá, Guadarte, Andaluza de Oficinas and Universo Eirin).

 

Exports of the sector

 

The habitat sector of Andalucía reached 242 million euros in exports in 2017, which shows almost double growth in less than a decade (2009-2017), when sales have increased by 92%. On the other hand, the habitat sector of Andalucía It mainly sells kitchen furniture abroad, with 72 million exported in 2017, 30% of the total and double sales in less than a decade; brown line appliances, with 50 million, 20,8% of the total and quadruple exports in this period; and home furniture, with 31 million, 12,6% of the total.

 

Regarding its main world markets, France, with 76 million (31% of the total) and double sales in less than a decade, occupies the first position; followed by Portugal, with 27,5 million (11,7% of the total) and a growth of 70%; and Germany, , with 21,6 million (8,9% of the total) and triple sales since 2009. In fourth place is Italy, with 15,4 million (6,4% of the total), which multiplies its sales by eight in this period; and Morocco, the first non-EU market in the sector, with 11,5 million (4,8% of the total).
