The Spanish company will go public on October 31st.
Pool manufacturer Fluidra has acquired 80% of the French company SAS Pacific Industrie, thus strengthening its position as a supplier of saline electrolysis solutions.
Following this acquisition, effective since October 1, Fluidra now has three production and assembly centers specializing in saline electrolysis systems: one located in Spain belonging to the company Idegis; another in France, belonging to SAS Pacific Industrie; and a third in Australia belonging to the company Hurlcon.
According to Fluidra, a company that will go public on October 31 at a price between 6,22 and 7,55 euros, SAS Pacific Industrie specializes in the manufacture and sale of saline chlorination devices for swimming pools and has a prominent presence in the French market.
The company, which had a turnover of 6,7 million euros in 2006 and a net profit of 1,2 million, will retain its management team after being absorbed by Fluidra.
