The Forum, which will be chaired by His Majesty King Felipe VI and President Steinmeier, has been held alternately in Madrid and Berlin since 2002. The last edition was in 2022 in the German capital.
Business competitiveness and the resilience of the European economy have become central issues on the European agenda, in a context of increasing global competition and geopolitical tensions such as the present.
Germany and Spain They share the strategic challenge of strengthening their capabilities to promote technological innovation and reduce vulnerabilities in critical sectors that are key to the competitiveness of European industries. Both countries seek to increase their technological and economic strength to contribute to Europe's competitiveness.
The 11th Spanish-German Forum will bring together Business leaders from both countries to explore avenues for collaboration and innovation in key areas such as energy, infrastructure and digital services, mobility, defense, the aerospace industry and the chemical-pharmaceutical industry.
