Fruit Attraction 2025: Global leadership assured with 90% occupancy

 

Four months before its celebration, Fruit Attraction 2025, the international fair for the fruit and vegetable sector, has surpassed 90% occupancy, consolidating its position as one of the most important events worldwide.

 

The director of Fruit Attraction, Maria Jose Sanchez, announced this milestone during the official presentation, which was also attended by Arancha Priede, General Director of Trade Fair and Congress Business at IFEMA MADRID; Cecilio Peregrín y José María Pozancos, president and director of FEPEX, respectively, and Elena Curzio, in charge of Economic-Commercial Affairs and Promotion of the Mexican Embassy in Spain.

 

Expansion and New Sectorization for an Optimized Experience

 

The exhibition area allocated to date reaches 70.000 m2, which represents a increase of 8% compared to the same period last year. This growth is accompanied by a strategic expansion and new sectorization which seeks to optimize the experience for both exhibitors and visitors. Fruit Attraction 2025 will occupy a total of 10 pavilions (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14), transforming Madrid into the world epicenter for the marketing of fresh products.

 

The odd-numbered pavilions will host the latest news from national companies and the area Innova&Tech (Hall 5). The even-numbered pavilions will concentrate the offer of European companies (4, 6 and 8), individual companies with operations in the global market (8 and 10), as well as the offer of America (12) and Africa and Asia (14). The area Fresh Food Logistics will be located in pavilion 4. In addition, most of the pavilions will have the area of Auxiliary Industry, ensuring the representation of the entire value chain of the sector.

 

The Tomato, Star Product and Focus on Organic Products

 

In this edition, the Tomato will be the star product, with various initiatives dedicated to this vegetable, the most in-demand in Spain and of great economic impact. There will also be a specific visibility to organic products, with differentiated actions to highlight the stands that present this type of products.

 

International Programs and Recognitions

 

Fruit Attraction 2025 will strengthen its international buyers program with the initiative Invited Importing Countries, which will star Mexico and MalaysiaFor the second time, the Best Stand Awards, recognizing creativity, design, and sustainability in four categories: Most Original Stand, Best Design, Most Sustainable, and Publicly Acclaimed.

 

Additionally, a new edition of the Innovation Hubs Awards, which will award the best project, product, or service in the sector, evaluating innovation, sustainability, applied technology, and knowledge. All applications will be displayed in the area Innovation hub, located between pavilions 4 and 6.

 

The fair will also be a knowledge center, with a complete program of technical conferences and forums. Relevant conferences are expected, such as Grape Attraction, Biofruit Congress and Fresh Food Logistics The Summit.
